The Pastors
Tommy and Rachel Burchfield are the founding pastors of the Believers World Outreach Church located in the Houston/Katy area. Their proven thirty years of ministry include a Christian Conference Center, a Bible School and a cutting edge television outreach called the Young Believers Broadcast. This highly respected duo have gathered churches, loved pastors, trained leaders and marked multiplied thousands of people for Jesus.
The Family
Andrew (24 years), Peter (21 years), and Abby (19 years) are their parents’ trophies. All three have a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and are best of friends. Andrew is Director of Media, Peter is our BWOC J-High pastor and Abby is at Baylor University.
Our History
1989 First, A Camp
An 1988 mandate to “Build a headquarters of faith for the youth of the world” required the Burchfields to move to Columbus, Tx. Country Camp is now an 1,088 acre Conference Center which gathers 1,000 churches annually. Their summer program, Discovery Camp, functions as a prototype for youth ministries globally. Over 500,000 people have visited these debt-free facilities because “Nothing takes the place of the Anointing.”
1991 Then, A Bible School
“Go home and begin a Bible school.” These were the Holy Spirit’s instructions to Pastor Tommy while preaching in Lagos, Nigeria. Thousands have since been trained at Texas Bible Institute, a nine month discipleship program exclusively for young people ages 17-25.
2003 Young Believer’s Broadcast
Pastor Tommy was in Atlanta, standing in CNN’s atrium and marveling at the power of media, when the Lord said, “Look up! You can reach the world from one location. Go home and start YBB.” YBB is now a weekly television show produced by TBI’s Media School which shares the message of Jesus Christ with youth worldwide.

2006 Now, A World Church
Congratulations, Katy! Your city has been chosen by heaven to host a great “Family Church With A Heart For The World.” Since 2006, thousands have come to experience great moves of the Holy Spirit and be challenged and trained how to fulfill their God-given dreams.
